Description:
Our client is looking for a Test Manager.The Test Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of the solutions implemented for the COREY project including both AMANDA and Non-AMANDA applications. AMANDA is a solution from Granicus (formerly Calytera) and is the foundation for the back-office application.
LIST 1 HEADER
Manage and lead the QA/Testing Team to ensure the success of the project
Define best QA practices for the team and ensure adherence to those standards
Define the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
Mentor QA/Testing Team to keep them motivated and focused on the quality of the deliverables
Coordinate resources for testing with project leads
Review and guide team on creation of test cases and test scenarios
Provide comprehensive projections and weekly status reports
Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure open communication, expectations, and transparency throughout a project
Translate Test Strategy and Test Plan into specific actions as needed to ensure quality across each development cycle
Define quality metrics for the project and report on those metrics
Analyze test results and test metrics
Prepare and present test reports
Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Solution Architect, Development Team Leads, etc.) to ensure the highest level of software quality
Required Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective soft skills as this position will require direct client interaction
Skills Required
Experience ensuring quality of COREY implementation including AMANDA and Non-AMANDA applications
Develop, maintain, and manage the Test Strategy and Test Plan
Strong background in QA Strategy, Test Planning, and Coaching/Mentoring
Strong understanding of test management processes, design techniques, and best practices
Prior experience in the following IT methodologies: Agile, DevOps, SDLC
