Description:

Our client is looking for a Database Administrator professional to support education in Wisconsin by collaborating with an experienced DBA and skilled infrastructure team.

Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain relational SQL databases for data storage and data mining.
Perform database design and testing, including database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
Develop processes and procedures for entering information into systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered.
Seek continuous improvement in performance and security.
Recognized as an advanced individual contributor.
Conducts highly complex work critical to the organization.

Skills Required

Experience designing, developing and maintaining SQL Databases for data storge and data mining
3+ years - Experience completing performance tuning and optimization
3+ years - Experience troubleshooting issues, review error logs, and perform issue resolution.
3+ years - Experience administering and organizing reporting environment using SSRS or PBI.

Skills Desired

Experience with Azure Managed Instances, Azure SQL Server, VMs.
Experience with encryption.
Experience with PowerShell
Experience with Oracle
