NOTE: No Wisconsin (WI) residency is required. This position is open to nationwide candidates. The Project Manager role will be 100% remote. Candidate must be a resident of the United States. PMP CERTIFICATION ATTACHMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. The contract will be 30 to 40 hours per week and will last 6 months. This may be extended on an as-needed basis. We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT. However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.

Description:

Our client is looking for a Certified Project Manager. Client is in the process of replacing Oracle PeopleSoft (FMIS / HRMS) with Workday for HR, Payroll and Financials. Client is looking to hire a Certified Project Manager with Workday experience. The selected candidate will work with the various departments to ensure all their needs are accurately captured in the new Workday configuration, also to assist and coordinate with the Implementation Vendor to make any required updates needed and to avoid issues/risks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Be efficient when responding to incoming email requests from the various city departments, organized when documenting their needs and requests, and
Must be an excellent communicator during stressful situations.

Skills Required

2 years - Workday implementation experience
2 years - Project Management experience
3 years - Ability to coordinate with City employees and external vendor resources, documenting as-is business processes
3 years - Schedule Teams meetings with agendas and facilitate the meetings to meet the required goals based on project deadlines
PMP Certification
Bachelor's Degree (Please include on your resume)

Skills Desired

2 years - Plan and document project tasks, based on project goals
2 years - Identify, assess and propose solutions to risks
2 years - Develop activity and resource planning, based on the Statement of Work
