Our client seeks a Sr Java Developer professional. The client expects the person to be more of a Software Engineer. The position is responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and support of complex Java applications and developing enhancements to Electronic Death Registry System (EDRS) and Birth Records System (BRS) for the client. BRS and EDRS are large critical applications used by the agency for recording births and deaths statewide. These applications support online collaboration, from the creation of records to the production of certified copies of birth and death certificates. Changes are being constantly made to enhance the stability and functionality of these systems.
