We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is seeking a SQL DBA who will be a member of the Infrastructure Team, will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers, and collaborate with Enterprise teams. The SQL DBA will help migrate to new versions of SQL and ensure the availability and optimization of the current client SQL 2008 – 2022 databases. The position may occasionally work with other database platforms such as Oracle.

Tasks

• Support SQL server applications
• Support SQL Server components, including SSIS and SSRS
• Maintain and troubleshoot ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes
• Perform SQL backups and Disaster Recovery
• Perform database migrations & upgrades
• Work with Azure SQL technologies
• Document work and processes
• Provide knowledge transfer
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
